Identifying your outgoing IP-address

When requesting whitelisting or reporting errors, Customer Service needs your outgoing IP-address to assist you in the best way possible.

If you do not know your outgoing IP-address, you might be able to identify it using a service like whatismyipaddress.com from your browser.

Some IT-environments use seperate IP-addresses for different protocols (FTP, SSH, HTTPS).

If you are using a proxy, it is the proxy’s outgoing IP-address you need to identify.

You must use the whatismyipaddress.com from the host server. It is likely that your company do not use the same outgoing IP-address for desktops and for servers. If in doubt- ask the IT-department to assist you.
